![]() If they could do it for D2 there's no way it is too cost prohibitive to do it for D3.Ownedcore is an ever evolving gaming forum created in 2006. Something as basic as just having the simple option to play the game single player is not something that is asking way too much. Oh, they told you months ahead of time and you STILL bought a car?! You deserve it, right?ĭon't bend over for corporate shenanigans like this. An analogy would be that if you wanted a care you would have to cut off your finger. Yes, we knew it'd be online multi player but that's not a deal breaker. Are you actually expecting us to believe that making Diablo III simply having the single player option was too much work for the best selling PC game of all time that they couldn't offer this to us so I could, oh I dunno, play the game when I wanted. Diablo II was online and single player, why can't this game be. If you wanted true single-player, then you should have not paid out your money for D3, and waited for Torchlight 2.Īnother example of a defeated individual bending over for capitalism. The difference is that you're whining about something you knew was there, and we're not. They never hid the fact that it would be this way, and, you supported them, too, by buying the game, same as we did. They're not responsible for your lack of planning and your wishful thinking. You bought the game knowing it was this way, and now you magically expect it to change? That's not Blizzard's fault. They could start taxing your oxygen intake and you guys would probably say, "oh, if you don't want to get taxed on breathing then just don't suck up all this precious air." No wonder the government so easily holds people down. You are allowed to protest the status quo while still partaking in it. Wow, you guys have been completely dominated by capitalistic culture.
